The Carnival of Personal Finance was hosted by My Retirement Blog this week. Mike’s article on 5 Tax-Free Ways to Make Money with Real Estate Investing was included in the carnival. Due to my keying error when submitting the article, it was listed as “5 Tax-Fee Ways. . . .” I guess Mike should submit his own stupid articles from now on. In sharp contrast to Mike’s piece, there were a lot of great articles included in the CoPF, and here are a few that we particularly enjoyed reading:
- How To Calculate Your Net Worth (and why it’s an important financial freedom step) @ Millionaire Mommy Next Door
- Procrastinating on finance @ Blunt Money
- Standing Up to the Green-Eyed Monster @ Plonkee Money
- Extra Paycheck Strategy @ I’ve Paid Twice For This Already
- Determine Your Retirement Needs In 3 Easy Steps @ Moolanomy
- Watch Prices Go Up: Interesting Facts About Inflation @ The Digerati Life
- Ask for More Money When You’re Offered a Job @ Free Money Finance
- Making A Major Life Change: Is It Time For Kathy To Abandon The City? @ The Simple Dollar

Rob,
I suppose I could post my own articles from now on, but you apparently need the practice. By the way, exactly where did you run into problems here–the “cut” or the “paste”?
You two are hilarious. Thanks for mentioning my post.
Thanks for mentioning my post! Better luck entering your next submission– I’m sure you got some curiosity clickers!
Thanks for the mention!
Your pingback is how I found your blog… y’all sound hilarious. I’ll be subscribing just for that.
You know, Mike spelled “free” as “fee” on the about page blurb. I am sensing some sort of cosmic trend….
Paidtwice, you’ve made my day!
Mike, I suppose you’re going to blame me for your section of the About page.
@Pinyo, Millionaire Mommy, and Paidtwice (1st comment), It’s a pleasure to add links to some good stuff. Thanks for checking in.
@Paidtwice (2nd comment), I’m not sure how this comment made it past moderation, but I’ll have Rob get right on that.
The exchange between the two wisecrackers is indeed hilarious! You guys keep it up!
It’s acres, SVB–Wiseacres.
Thanks for the encouragement.
